Gianniskari Beach
Gianniskari Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Achaia prefecture with it’s clear blue waters, sandy shore and dense surrounding green forest. But it is also one of the most challenging to reach seaside locations, as the road leading there is a narrow rocky gravel road with lots of turns. This road requires slow speed and extra attention by drivers, but it offers a great view of the small gulf below.
By the beach, there is an operating beach bar that offers drinks, snacks as well as deckchairs and beach umbrellas. There is also available parking space for visitors’ vehicles. Driving to the coast’s edge should be avoided, as there is a high probability of vehicles getting stuck in the sand.
Gianniskari Beach can be reached by car, preferably a 4×4 vehicle. The route from Patras lasts about an hour.
