How to drive to Araxos Airport

Driving from Patras to Araxos Airport 

Pick the Patron – Pyrgou New National Road. It’s important to note that you have to take extra care when driving this road while there is no border between the different lanes.

After crossing “Kato Achaia” crossroad keep driving a few kilometers till you reach “Bonteika” village.

After “Bonteika” you will meet a few signs to Araxos Airport, “Metochi” and “Kalogria” (as seen in followeing picture), after when you will turn right.

After turning right keep driving for about 700m where road splits in twio ways. Turn right as show in following picture.

Keep driving the agricultural road for about eight kilometers and you will reach the Araxos Airport.

Drive to Araxos Airport From Athens:

Pick the Athinon – Patron New National Road. After crossing the Patras toll station pick the Patras By-Pass Road. In the end of the By-Pass road you automaticly join Patron – Pyrgou New National road. Then follow the above Patras – Araxos information.

KTEL Achaias bus operator, operates bus services to / from Patras Central bus station to Araxos Airport, according to the timetable of Ryanair flights.

Bus to Araxos Airport from Patras departs about 2,5 hours before the Ryanair flight departures. Bus from Araxos Airport to Patras departs about 45 minutes after the arrival of Ryanair flight.
